HAVENLESS ' s first EP "Architecture of plague" was recorded and mixed by Raphael Henry at Echoes Studio and mastered by keyboard player PY Marani at Ubik Mastering during summer 2012.
The band’s progressive death metal sound is strongly influenced by OPETH ,IHSAHN , ENSLAVED , or PORCUPINE TREE with lyrics reminding KING DIAMOND ‘s style .

As the day is dying , The urban winter spreads its fumes into the dead city. Walking these desert streets , A shadow’s steps , hitting the ground . A tortured mind , sick and alone, Hiding tragedy in his cloak. I witness an inner struggle scene: I feel the burden he carries in his head Torn between reluctance and eagerness. Insanity ‘s facing his guilt feelings. But now the border ‘s to be crossed, I can follow him down , and together we go beyond… In apathy and anxiety , I no more know what’s real. Disappearing into the fog , To the house , his weapon guides his mind. And at the door , he knocks… Breaking the silence , the screams pervade the night, The obscure sky awakes , his hunt ‘s come to an end : A couple’s lying dead , their new born child is spared. Pale characters hanging on the walls are weeping helplessly, Over a funeral bed , an eternal sleep . The wooden floor ‘s cracking , A theater of death has risen its curtains . The border has been crossed And I’ve followed him down , Together we have gone ,beyond the restricted . I no more know what’s real , I’m trapped in apathy , beyond the restricted .

IN THE WAKE OF THE PHANTOM ‘S PLAGUE Out of the fog , The night walker ‘s slipping away, The lonely ghost ‘s braving the cold As now the cries seem far in the distance. I’m just one step behind , but can’t see my own shadow on the walls. Who am I in this world ? And is this world insane ? Night watches us walking , But my steps have no echoe here! Dark houses keep silent as we’re going through this set of fear. I’m a stranger to this past century, Like trapped , under a spell. I’m following this shape of Death. Drawing nearer to where he dwells , Into this place of nameless streets , The air is getting colder , as we now reach the phantom’s den. The gate opens and I follow his steps. Inside this house , there is no sign of life. No furniture , no window to be seen. Only the smell of dusty wood to bear. Nothing has survived here, But a broken mirror , waiting in a corner , Waiting for us to see… Facing the looking glass , the killer grasps my hand , And he raises his head .. INHERIT THE DARK Through this journey , this dark city , I’ve been tracking my untamed mind. That killer’s shape came out of me. He’s the dark half that I have sent Here on this slippery streets , to slay . I had to trade my curse into this past reality Where misery’s unleashed. I broke the rule of space and time, Projecting death in a funeral dream. Apathetic deed of a possessed man, To drop the fear out of the present time. I’ve found this place place , I found the heir.
